They broke open the Earth and took the white sand to the surface, but it was not enough. They grasped at the fires of hell and began melting down every last grain of it, but it was not enough. They made a deal with the gods that granted them power over lightning and then, it was enough. The dragons watched in their caves, on their mountains and from the skies, as they brought the machines into this world. If some felt fear, they've hid it from history. Most held a certain curiosity for what the human kin had invented and began offering an allegiance.
